The 40 Book Challenge does just what it says -- it challenges you to read 40 books from various genres during the school year.

Even if you don't think you can read that many books, use the sheet provided at orientation to set your own goals and keep track of the titles you read this year. Always keep in in your reading binder! Have your reading teacher sign off as your complete your books.

Prizes will be given throughout the year:

If you finish a row (or 8 titles) by September 28, prizes will be rewarded the week of October 2.

If you complete any 20 books by December 8, you will receive a prize the week of December 11.

If you complete all 40 books by April 27, you will be invited to our 40 Book Challenge party in May.

New this year: if you complete the genre half of the challenge (the 20 boxes on the left side) by April 27, you can also earn a reward. (Even if you didn't complete all the chapter book choices)
